I'm not sure if it's to do with the London Olympics this year (or perhaps just a subtle hint for me to actually do some exercise for once), but the tasty little trends of 2012 have so far presented us with a plethora of scuba style dresses, racer-back vests, jersey joggers and 80's style crop tops. From Marc Jacobs to Victoria Beckham, sports luxe has once again hit the catwalks as one of the most wearable trends for all fashionistas. Simply whack on some joggers and an American Apparel sweater and saunter around looking like a fashionable fitness fanatic; nobody will have a clue that in reality you've been to the gym once this month (despite the hefty membership fee) and spend most evenings drinking alcohol and getting takeaways. The neon colours and soft tailoring scream 1980's fashion, and after a hardcore session at the gym so will my hair! My deliciously neutral wardrobe is in no way prepared for any form of brightly coloured sports attire but what the hell, I may go crazy this season and buy a neon hoody or two. Well, maybe not neon…
